This page explains how payments work on Ordafy Shop today.
Last updated: 27 March 2026
When you buy a product or service from a seller on Ordafy Shop, your contract for that purchase is with the seller (the provider), not with Ordafy Limited as the supplier of those goods or services. Ordafy operates the marketplace and related software.
Card payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment services provider. You may also be asked to accept Stripe's terms where required for your payment. Ordafy uses Stripe Connect so that eligible amounts can be settled to sellers according to our platform rules and the seller's payout setup.
Depending on order or booking type, funds may be released to the seller's connected Stripe account after conditions are met (for example fulfilment and refund windows). Sellers move money from Stripe to their bank through their Stripe account and payout settings. Timing can depend on Stripe, the seller's bank, and compliance checks.
Processing and platform fees may apply as described at checkout, in booking flows, and in our Terms of Service.
Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to the seller's policies, our refund policy, applicable law, and card scheme rules. Stripe facilitates the money movement for refunds where applicable.
